Tiger Sharks - Swim Club Program Information
Fee: $329
The Fenton Tiger Sharks Swimming organization is a year-round competitive swim program focused on improving swimming skills for young athletes. Swimmers compete in male or female divisions by age group. Age groups vary meet to meet but can include 15-16, 13-14, 11-12, 10 & under and sometimes 8 & under age groups. Age groups are separated by categories including AAA, AA, A, B, and sometimes C based on minimum posted event swim time qualifications. You can view the categories and minimum time requirements by visiting the Michigan Swimming - US Swimming web site and going to the “Time Standards” section of their web page.
The objective of the Tiger Shark coaching staff is to assist the swimmers with training methods, stroke perfection, and assist athletes to achieve personal goals. Students can compete in age group divisions at various swim meets throughout the year. Team events such as relays can be included at the swim meets with team points awarded. The Fenton Tiger Sharks are a registered USA Swimming Club. United States American Swimming is the national governing body of swimming in the United States. The Michigan branch is called Michigan Swimming which sponsors and regulates meets throughout the state. These meets are held almost every weekend in various cities. All competitive swimmers are welcome to be a part of this exciting activity. The coaches and club representative want to provide a fun, competitive environment.
A parent signature will be required on several forms.
Current swimmers will secure their spot with registration and full payment. New swimmers will be registered on a first come, first served, space available basis.
Fall Session $329 (includes $52 USAS membership)

NO SWIMMER WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE POOL UNTIL REGISTRATION IS COMPLETE.
Registration fee must be paid in full on registration date (September 15) in order to hold your spot. No exceptions!
Registration Policies:
New swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards freestyle and 25 yards backstroke
with proper stroke technique as determined by the coaching staff. For
the safety of our swimmers, a limited number of swimmers will be admitted
for each practice session. If space is available, late registration will
be accepted up to the first day of schedule practice. If the swimmer is
not ready to be on the swim team as determined by the coaching staff,
a full refund will be issued. The USAS fee cannot be refunded.

Starting in November practices are 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Saturdays, 7:00 am - 9:00 am
